We are on the lookout for an Account Manager with 3-5 years agency experience to join our growing team, working collaboratively and transparently with the best team to produce world-class projects and campaigns for our fantastic clients.

We’re looking for an Account Manager who is proactive, focused, energetic, willing to learn and roll up their sleeves to get the job done. You will work on four to six campaigns at any given time across B2C and B2B.

Reporting directly to our Account Director, day-to-day you will be responsible for:

Corporate Responsibilities

  • Adhere to agency policies and procedures
  • Participate in agency meetings, initiatives and events
  • Attend PR industry events

Industry Knowledge

  • Read and be fully across all relevant trade, consumer and business media
  • Keep abreast of PR services that will enhance the agency’s client offering
  • Attend relevant training courses (with approval from the Managing Director)

Client Servicing

  • Build positive, trusted and professional working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • In consultation with the Senior Account Manager and Account Director, devise world-class communication strategies for clients
  • End-to-end campaign implementation – delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Research and idea generation
  • Attend and participate in client events and conferences
  • Manage and assist with client meetings including developing meeting agendas and meeting reports
  • Prepare and manage regular and accurate weekly and monthly client reports using our internal PR reporting system
  • Respond to client requests and emails in a timely manner

Media Skills

  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with key journalists
  • Develop news angles and pitch and place stories confidently
  • Work closely with our social media team to ensure seamless delivery of key messaging across our clients’ digital and social media platforms
  • Monitor media on a daily basis including newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, online sites, blogs and social media
  • Collate, analyse and evaluate media coverage
  • Manage events including press conferences, red carpet/opening nights and launches
  • Manage and handle photography and videography for clients
  • Respond quickly to phone calls and emails from journalists, leaving no stone unturned
  • Proactively seek and identify PR opportunities for clients, ensuring the maximum level of coverage is achieved for all clients
  • Oversee promotional activity for clients including handling competitions
  • A solid understanding of social media and meaningful influencer engagement
