For the first time ever in Australia, UFC fighter and current Bantamweight Champion, Cody Garbrandt, will share his life journey live on stage.

Garbrandt will travel to Australia for An Evening with Cody “No Love” Garbrandt, where he will answer questions about his incredible success as an elite athlete and UFC Champion.

With an undefeated professional MMA record of 11-0, the Ohio-born fighter will have a lot of questions to answer as he takes the stage in Melbourne and Sydney on August 6th and 7th, respectively.

The event will be one of his first public appearances following his highly-anticipated match against former UFC Bantamweight Champion, T.J. Dillashaw at UFC 213 in Las Vegas this July.

The 25-year-old will be joined by a special guest host asking questions about his achievements as a UFC fighter, followed by a Q&A with the live audience at Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre and The Star Sydney.

Garbrandt is very excited to be heading to Australia for the very first time,

I’m very eager to visit Australia, I’m looking forward to meeting my fans and answering their questions, I’m sure they have a lot!”

As a professional athlete, especially a UFC fighter, fans are always interested to know so much about me. I’m looking forward to finally sharing my story with them and I’m sure they are looking forward to it as well!” he said.

The 90-minute event will give fans a chance to see the softer side of Garbrandt, which has previously been noted when he generously gave his title belt to cancer survivor Maddux Maple. The pair had met years ago before Garbrandt had made it to the UFC and Maddux was suffering from Leukaemia. In light of Cody’s connection with Maddux, a portion of event ticket sales will go to the Leukaemia Foundation.

With his first bout in 2009, Garbrandt turned professional in 2012, and signed with UFC in 2014. He made his promotional debut against Marcus Brimage on January 3rd 2015 at UFC 182, which he won via TKO in the third round.

Garbrandt faced then-Bantamweight Champion, Dominick Cruz, on December 30th 2016 at UCF 207. He became champion, winning the fight by unanimous decision after dropping Cruz on multiple occasions.

An Evening with Cody “No Love” Garbrandt will be held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Sunday August 6th 7.30pm and The Star Sydney on Monday August 7th 7.30pm.
